As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting all members of our team, by taking phone calls, checking emails, and directing customer inquiries to the appropriate department. You will be responsible for providing exemplary customer service to our current customers, while working to establish a valuable connection to maintain our impeccable retention record.

The Customer Service Representative/Receptionist will be responsible for completing the following job duties.

  • Answer phone calls and emails from customers promptly and direct inquiries to the appropriate department to ensure client satisfaction
  • Greeting clients that come into the office, and coordinating someone to assist them, or assisting them yourself, if able.
  • Prepare and clean the reception/lobby area and personal workstation daily.
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as, but not limited to making copies, distributing office mail, packages, etc. to help the office run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Properly maintain client records within the agency management system.
  • Efficient and accurate endorsement processing of mortgagee changes.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the department manager.
  • Work directly with in-house account managers to ensure clients’ needs are met or exceeded.
  • Flexibility in helping with special projects for management, service team, and sales team as needed.
  • Greeting clients that come into the office, and coordinating someone to assist them, or assisting them yourself, if able.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are required of the Customer Service Representative/Receptionist

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

· Office-based Customer Service: Minumum 1 year

· Insurance Office Experience is a plus

Skills:

  • Must have at least one year of experience in customer service
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Proficient data entry skills.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and work towards client-focused solutions.
  • Willingness to be coached by an experienced team member/manager.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with impeccable time management skills.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru, and follow-up to exceed client expectations during the process of obtaining new insurance products.
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

The Customer Service Representative/Receptionist is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.

The working conditions are classified as medium work:

  • Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Pay: $37,500.00 - $41,500.00 per year
