We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented person who demonstrates clear knowledge and understanding of personal lines insurance coverage to join our fast-paced Service Department. As a Licensed Account Manager,you will beresponsible for providing exemplary customer service to our current customers, while working to establish a valuable connection to maintain our impeccable retention record. The Licensed Account Manager will handle all standard company customer service tasks and will support the sales team as needed. You will also be provided with the opportunity to cross-sell clients in your assigned books of business.

The Licensed Account Manager will be responsible for completing the following job duties.

  • Assist clients with coverage, claims, and billing questions.
  • Properly maintain client records within the agency management system
  • Efficient and accurate endorsement processing with carriers based on customer requests.
  • Quote and Issue new business and additional lines of business based on customer inquiries.
  • Assist customers with annual reviews of their policies, advising on coverage gaps and any additional lines that may better protect the customer.
  • Assist customers with placing current policies with other carriers in the event of non-renewal, underwriting concerns or excessive rate increases.
  • Bind insurance and issue formal binders to all parties necessary.
  • Perform client reviews to ensure that clients are covered properly based on their current needs.
  • Utilize our Agency Management System to maintain all client activity. Maintain files in an orderly, up-to-date manner to assure time-sensitive items are handled accordingly.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the department manager.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are required of the Licensed Account Manager

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • P&C license is required
  • Customer Service: 2 years in an insurance customer service role

Skills:

  • Must have at least two years of experience in customer service
  • Must have two years of experience with personal or commercial lines customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and work towards client-focused solutions.
  • Willingness to be coached by an experienced team member/manager.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with impeccable time management skills.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up to exceed client expectations during the process of obtaining new insurance products.
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

The Licensed Account Manager is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.

The working conditions are classified as medium work:

  • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
